Refund Policy

Last Updated: January 2026

At any stage, any funds deposited are non-refundable once the initial discovery findings, wireframes, UI/UX design concepts, technical proposal, or development strategy have been delivered and subsequently approved by the client, or once a revision has been requested — unless Unity Tech Digital cancels or terminates your contract for a reason unrelated to your breach or non-performance. All refund requests are subject to the terms below and to any additional terms in your Service Agreement.

1. Eligibility Based on Project Stage

If you request a refund after receiving the initial discovery summary, wireframes, design concepts, or technical proposal, and you approve or request changes, the refund offer becomes void.

Once the project enters the revision or build phase (design revisions, development sprints, or strategy adjustments), the refund policy becomes void and no refund will be granted.

2. Refund Windows

3. Client Inactivity

No refund will be granted after 7 working days of client inactivity. Restarting the project may incur a reactivation fee depending on scope.

If the client becomes unresponsive for 5 working days at any stage, refund eligibility is void.

4. Submission and Review of Refund Requests

All refund requests must be submitted to the Unity Tech Digital Support Department. Unity Tech Digital reserves the right to approve or deny refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

5. Delivery of Final Files

No refunds will be granted once final source code, final design files, production builds, or launch-ready deliverables have been delivered or deployed to a live/production environment.

6. Service-Specific Refund Limitations

For Website and App Development Packages, no refund will be issued once design revisions have begun, wireframes or UI concepts have been revised, or development steps (e.g., backend setup, database architecture, API integration, app store submission preparation) have commenced.

For multi-service packages (e.g., UI/UX Design + Development + Maintenance), a refund applies only to the portion of services not yet initiated.

Example: If you approve the design phase but not the maintenance plan, you may be eligible for a refund for the maintenance service only, subject to the timelines above.

7. Validity of Refund Request

A refund request must include a valid and reasonable explanation, measured against your original project brief, technical specification, and feedback history.

If the work has been completed according to your brief and revision instructions, a refund will not be approved; however, further revisions will be provided until you are satisfied, within the scope of your package.

8. Non-Disparagement Agreement

Both Unity Tech Digital and the Client agree not to publicly criticize, disparage, or harm the reputation of the other (including employees, partners, or associates) on any platform (forums, blogs, social media, review sites, etc.) during or after the engagement. Any breach may entitle the non-breaching party to pursue reasonable damages, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in this section restricts either party's right to make truthful statements protected by law, including consumer protection statutes.

9. Good-Faith Policy

Our Money-Back Guarantee applies only when orders are placed in good faith. If a client submits the same project brief or design request to multiple agencies with the intent to claim multiple refunds, we reserve the right to reject the refund request.

10. Client Participation Requirement

Web and mobile development services require consistent client involvement, including review of wireframes, design mockups, staging builds, and test/UAT (user acceptance testing) cycles. Clients are expected to provide timely feedback and required assets (content, credentials, branding) to ensure the project's success.

11. Originality Disclaimer

Our 100% original design guarantee entitles you to a new design concept if ours is found to be substantially similar to an existing design by coincidence. Unity Tech Digital is not responsible for trademark or copyright registration of the client's brand, content, or final product; it is the client's responsibility to secure appropriate legal protections for their business, brand, and content.

12. Chargeback and Payment Disputes

Clients are strongly discouraged from initiating chargebacks with their bank or payment provider instead of following the official refund process with Unity Tech Digital.

Any attempt to bypass the established refund process may result in:

Unity Tech Digital reserves the right to contest any chargeback with supporting documentation, including:

Clients initiating chargebacks without prior communication may be considered in breach of contract, which may impact future business relationships and give rise to the remedies available under this policy and applicable law.

Dispute Resolution Policy

Unity Tech Digital strives for transparent, fair, and professional resolutions to all concerns. To maintain a positive working relationship, the following dispute process applies, consistent with U.S. law:

1. Initial Resolution Attempt

If you have concerns about any service, you must first contact our Support Department in writing. Our team will review your case and respond within 3–5 business days with proposed solutions or clarifying questions.

2. Escalation Process

If the issue is not resolved through initial communication:

3. Mediation

If an agreement still cannot be reached, the parties agree to engage in good-faith mediation through a mutually agreed-upon, neutral third-party mediator. Costs of mediation will be shared equally, unless otherwise determined in writing.

4. Binding Arbitration

If mediation does not resolve the dispute, both parties agree to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, seated in New Castle County, Delaware, consistent with the governing law and dispute provisions of our Terms & Conditions. The arbitrator's decision will be final and enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction in the United States. Litigation will only occur where required by law, for claims within small claims court jurisdiction, or for enforcement of an arbitration award.

5. No Public Disputes

Both parties agree not to engage in public complaints, defamation, or negative statements during the dispute process, without prejudice to either party's rights under applicable consumer protection or free speech laws. Violations may result in damages or legal action.

6. Continued Work During Disputes

Work on the project may be paused during dispute resolution. Neither party will be deemed in breach solely for pausing work during an ongoing, formally documented dispute.

Revision Policy

Revisions are contingent on the package selected. Clients can request amendments to wireframes, design concepts, or development deliverables within the number of revision rounds specified in their Service Agreement, provided the original scope, brief, and approved concept remain intact. Revision requests beyond the agreed rounds, or changes to previously approved work, may be billed as additional scope per Section 5.3 of our Terms & Conditions. Standard revision turnaround time is typically 48–72 hours, depending on complexity.
